Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for wireless telecom solutions. The role involves troubleshooting network issues, supporting deployments, and ensuring high system uptime and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain wireless hardware (access points, routers, antennas) in harsh, high-density, or underground mining environments. Perform fibre/copper cable repair, patching, and manage network equipment inventory to minimise downtime. Ensure all communication systems comply with mine safety regulations and implement security measures (encryption, authentication) for data protection. Provide technical support for wireless telecom products and solutions (RF, routers, access points, CPEs). Diagnose and resolve network issues related to connectivity, signal strength, and performance. Handle L1/L2 support tickets, escalations, and customer queries within defined SLAs. Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of wireless equipment. Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues. Coordinate with field engineers and OEM/vendor support teams for issue resolution.
