Key Function
Driving Government Sales and Business Development across PAN India
Job Description
- Lead and drive the Government (Central & State) sales strategy across PAN India
- Build and manage relationships with key government departments, PSUs, and system integrators
- Identify, track, and close large government tenders and projects
- Drive business growth by expanding presence in existing and new government accounts
- Own complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to order closure and collections
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, product, operations) for solution alignment and bid management
- Monitor market intelligence, competitor activity, and policy changes impacting government business
- Deliver on revenue targets, profitability, and business expansion goals
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in handling Government / PSU clients and tender-based business
- Proven leadership capability in managing large geographies and sales teams
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes, GeM portal, and tendering systems
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong business development and account management skills
- Strategic thinker with execution focus and target-driven approach
- High ownership, self-driven, and ability to perform in a competitive environment
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
