Description:
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and reliability of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations by managing preventive maintenance programs, supervising maintenance staff, and coordinating with operations to minimise downtime. Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians and contractors. Ensure equipment and facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including labour, parts, and services. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company policies. Track maintenance metrics (downtime, MTBF, MTTR, costs) and drive continuous improvement. Coordinate maintenance activities with production/operations to minimise disruptions. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement of tools, materials, and services. Investigate equipment failures and implement root cause corrective actions. Maintain accurate maintenance records using a maintenance sheet or notes. Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
