Description:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Mining Engineering, or related field. Experience in mining, minerals, metal, cement, or related industries. Experience in government liaison roles preferred. responsible for coordinating with government authorities, regulatory bodies, suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth commercial operations and statutory compliance for mining activities. The role involves managing permits, handling documentation, facilitating approvals, monitoring logistics, and supporting procurement and sales activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Liaison & Regulatory Compliance

Coordinate with government departments such as Mines & Geology, Forest Department, Pollution Control Board, Revenue Department, DMG, MoEFCC, DGMS, etc.

Process and track statutory approvals, licenses, permits, consent-to-operate (CTO), mining leases, transportation permits, royalty payments, environment clearances, etc.

Maintain updated knowledge of mining rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Ensure timely renewal of licenses and submission of statutory reports.

Attend meetings, hearings, inspections, and compliance audits with government officials.
2. Commercial Operations

Manage sales documentation, dispatch records, invoices, e-way bills, and royalty slips.

Coordinate with transporters, logistics providers, and stockyard teams for material movement.

Assist the commercial manager in price negotiations, vendor coordination, contract management, and purchase orders.

Monitor stock levels, dispatch plans, and commercial transactions.
3. Documentation & Record Keeping

Prepare and maintain records for mining operations, production data, dispatch logs, permits, challans, compliance forms, and audit documents.

Prepare MIS reports, compliance trackers, and communication logs.

Ensure accuracy and punctual submission of all documentation.
4. Stakeholder Coordination

Act as a communication point between the company and external stakeholders (government bodies, local authorities, consultants, vendors).

Resolve issues related to statutory approvals, land matters, transportation, and community interactions.

Support CSR and community liaison activities when required.
5. Administrative & Support Functions
-
Facilitate inspection visits to mines and plants by government officials.

Assist in tender preparation, documentation, and commercial bidding.

Support finance and legal teams in compliance-related documentation.
