Job Summary:
We are seeking a senior, visionary leader to head Products, Strategic Alliances & Partnerships are responsible for shaping the company’s product portfolio through a combination of in-house capability development, external sourcing, and strategic alliances. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technical-commercial evaluation, and OEM/technology partnerships. The incumbent will identify market opportunities, conceptualise products and solutions, evaluate internal capabilities, and determine the optimal execution model — whether to build internally, buy externally, co-develop with partners, or create alliance-led offerings. The role is critical to expanding the company’s offerings beyond services into scalable products, platforms, and solution partnerships, while strengthening long-term OEM and technology relationships in India and global markets.
Description:
1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Development:
Define and own the overall product and solution roadmap aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy. Identify new product opportunities emerging from market gaps, OEM needs, customer demands, and technology evolution. Conceptualize products and solutions across hardware, peripherals, technology platforms, or integrated service-led offerings. Drive clarity on what products the company should own, enable, distribute, or co-create.
2. Capability Evaluation & Build–Buy–Partner Decisions:
Lead structured evaluation of internal technical, operational, manufacturing, and delivery capabilities. Assess the feasibility of in-house manufacturing, in-house development, third-party sourcing, or alliance-led execution. Take ownership of build vs buy vs partner vs co-create decisions from both strategic and commercial standpoints. Define scalability, cost structures, quality benchmarks, and long-term sustainability of each product decision.
3. Strategic Alliances & Partnership Development:
Identify and engage with global and domestic OEMs, technology providers, and product companies for collaboration.
Structure alliances for: Product co-development, Manufacturing partnerships, Technology licensing, Distribution and market-entry partnerships. Lead negotiations and finalisation of strategic alliance agreements with a long-term value-creation mindset.
4. Product–Alliance Integration:
Ensure strong alignment between product strategy and alliance strategy — Alliances must strengthen product capability, not exist in isolation. Translate partner strengths into differentiated product offerings for the Indian market. Design joint go-to-market strategies for alliance-led products and solutions. Work closely with sales, service, and operations teams to ensure seamless product commercialisation.
5. Market & Ecosystem Intelligence:
Continuously track market trends, emerging technologies, OEM strategies, and competitive product movements. Identify white spaces where alliance-led or hybrid products can deliver faster market entry and lower risk. Act as the organisation’s thought leader on product ecosystems and partnership-driven growth models.
6. Governance, Commercials & Performance Management:
Establish governance frameworks for product lifecycle management and alliance performance. Define KPIs for product success, partner effectiveness, and ROI from alliances. Drive periodic reviews covering product performance, partner contribution, cost optimisation, and scalability. Ensure legal, regulatory, and compliance adherence across all product and partnership models.

- Proven experience in OEM partnerships, technology alliances, or product- led business models.
- Ability to translate complex technical possibilities into commercially viable products.
- Excellent CXO-level negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline and decision-making maturity.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Engineering / Technology / Business; MBA preferred. 15+ years of senior experience across products, alliances, OEM
partnerships, technology ecosystems, or corporate strategy. Strong exposure to IT hardware, technology products, peripherals,
manufacturing partners, or solution ecosystems. Demonstrated experience in evaluating and launching products through internal and partner-led models. Solid understanding of Indian and global OEM operating frameworks.
