Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Legal to handle legal matters related to real estate projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing property documentation, regulatory compliance, contracts, and legal risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as sale deeds, agreements, MOUs, lease agreements, and contracts
- Conduct title due diligence and verification of land/property documents
- Handle legal compliance related to real estate laws, including RERA, land laws, and municipal regulations
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Manage litigation matters and assist in court cases, hearings, and legal notices
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all legal files
- Provide legal advice to management on property acquisitions, joint ventures, and transactions
- Stay updated with changes in real estate and property laws.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of property laws, RERA regulations, and contract law
- Experience in land acquisition, title search, and documentation
- Good drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters efficiently
- Experience working with real estate developers or law firms handling property matters.
