Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled PCB Testing & Repair Engineer to test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) used in electronic products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, schematic reading, component-level troubleshooting, soldering, and repairing SMT and through-hole PCBs, while ensuring adherence to high-quality manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing of assembled PCBs using test fixtures and testing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faulty PCBs at the component level.
- Identify defects related to soldering, assembly, and electronic components.
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters, logic analysers, and other electronic test instruments.
- Replace defective SMD and through-hole components using soldering and rework stations.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring PCB failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain testing records, repair reports, and failure analysis documentation.
- Support production teams in resolving quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards and company quality procedures.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams to improve product reliability.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures during testing and repair.
