Experienced copy editor and fact-checker needed for long-form content. This copy editor should be able to proof, format, and post content after being received from writers. The Copy Editor will Check provided material to ensure writers provide the requested sections of content. Copy edit content to be appropriate for AP style. Fact checks any statistics given. Look through all sources used and ensure they are not violating any websites& terms of service. Run content through a plagiarism checker. Format content correctly in HTML to fit on-page. Run HTML through a validation tool. Post content to our content management platform. The candidate should be Must have Strong knowledge of AP style. Knowledge of best practices in writing for SEO. Detail-oriented. Able to follow company editorial guidelines.Nice to have Basic HTML experience. Knowledge of website copyrights/terms of service and how they are structured.
